About Us

Rogue Water Polo (“RWP”) is a USA Water Polo sanctioned club (Club #25823). RWP was founded in 2014 to promote the sport of water polo to youth in the Tri-Valley Area. Although currently RWP practices in San Ramon, players from all regions are welcome. We may expand as time goes on and increase the reach and accessibility of the program.

RWP firmly believes in giving an athlete the opportunity to play water polo in a setting that may be more local and convenient. This is all in hopes to increase awareness of the sport of water polo and to help make the high school level of play more competitive.

Rogue is a year-round USAWP sanctioned club program. There are programs offered for all age levels that include, 12 & U, 14 & U, 16 & U, and 18 & U.

Rogue strives to create a fun and safe environment to learn the exciting game of water polo. Players will be taught the fundamentals heavily to create a positive foundation to work off of. Players at all levels will be able to learn new skills or enhance current skills. They will be taught individual and team offenses and defenses, strategies, schemes, and overall conditioning.

In order to do this, Rogue offers practices, local and nationally sanctioned tournaments, scrimmages, as well as chalk talk or video sessions as necessary. In-water instruction will also be an incremental approach to enhance each athlete’s individual and team skills by giving more coach-to-athlete instruction.
